Who can take part

  • Be age 16 or older.
  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of myasthenia gravis (MG).
  • Your MG diagnosis must be supported by one of these: a clear improvement after pyridostigmine, or nerve testing that shows a drop of more than 10%.
  • Be willing to have extra tests, including sample collection (like blood or other samples) and imaging scans.
  • You should not have another long-term brain or nervous system condition (or severe psychiatric illness) that could also cause weakness or tiredness.
  • You should not have a very serious whole-body illness that is expected to limit life expectancy soon.
