Who can take part
- You’re between 21 and 90 years old
- You worked as an FDNY rescue/recovery worker and can show documented WTC exposure
- You are enrolled in the WTC-HP program and can give your own consent and attend study visit(s)
- You can do daily activities independently, and you’re either a light-duty or retired FDNY firefighter
- You have a recent breathing test (spirometry) from within 24 months, including a post-9/11 visit, and results meet study thresholds
- Blood sample from your first post-9/11 WTC-HP visit is available in the biorepository
