Low oxygen plus a medication to improve walking after spinal injury

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old, and a clinician says you’re medically safe to join
  • Your spinal cord injury is not continuing to worsen, and it is in the neck-to-mid-back range (at or below C2 and above T12)
  • You have partial leg control (motor-incomplete) with visible, voluntary leg movement
  • Your injury happened more than 12 months ago
  • You can move forward at least one step on the ground without another person helping you
