Study medicine dosing in children with asthma using inhaler tests

Who can take part

  • Your child has asthma confirmed for at least 6 months.
  • Your child uses a stable, low-to-medium dose inhaled steroid (ICS) plus one other asthma controller for at least 4 weeks.
  • Your child’s breathing test result (FEV1) must fall in a specific range at screening; they must also be able to do spirometry (breathing measurement tests).
  • Your child must show asthma improvement after using rescue medicine during a breathing test (a bronchodilator response test).
  • A parent/guardian must sign consent (and the child may need to assent) and must attend visits and help complete study diary entries.
  • Your child must be able to correctly use specific inhalers used in the study (like Diskus/Accuhaler and Breezhaler).
