Who can take part
- You have Down syndrome (including mosaic or partial trisomy 21)
- You’re between 18 and 55 years old, and you do not currently have dementia
- You can take part for the full study, including brain scans and thinking tests
- Your vision and hearing are good enough to complete the thinking tests
- If you take brain/cancer/nerve medicines that affect the brain, your dose must be stable for about 4 weeks (or the team reviews timing)
- A reliable study partner (caregiver or family member) can share your history and symptoms
