Who can take part
- Be an adult who received a liver transplant at the University of Alberta
- Be able to take the study medication after your transplant as directed
- Not have congenital long QT syndrome (a rare heart rhythm condition you may have been born with)
- Your bilirubin level at day 3 must not be higher than 100 umol/L
- Your kidney function must not be too reduced (eGFR must be 45 or higher)
- You must not have certain special situations, like needing re-transplant, a multi-organ transplant, or having hepatocellular carcinoma
