Study drug for adults with cystic fibrosis lung disease

This Phase 2 trial tests 4D-710 to improve lung health in adults with cystic fibrosis who either cannot take CFTR modulator medicines or are not doing well enough on them. You may be eligible if you have moderate lung function and stable oxygen levels, and you meet other safety and health requirements.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have confirmed cystic fibrosis, with specific CF lab findings and/or CFTR gene changes
  • Your lung test (FEV1) is between 50% and 90% predicted (main study) or between 40% and under 70% predicted (sub-study)
  • Your oxygen level is at least 92% when resting on room air
  • You either cannot take CFTR modulator therapy, or (for the sub-study) you are on it at a stable dose for at least 60 days
  • You cannot currently have certain lung infections, smoking/vaping, or conditions that make steroid treatment unsafe
