  • Have weak bowel “sphincter” muscle tone (difficulty controlling stool)
  • Do regular enemas to manage bowel leaks (fecal incontinence)
  • Be able to take part in the study in English
  • Not be pregnant
  • Not be in the prison system, a state ward, or unable to make your own decisions as an adult
