Studying immune development in preterm and vaccinated full-term babies

Who can take part

  • Baby is born very early (under 32 weeks) OR is full-term and mom had a Tdap shot during pregnancy
  • Parents or guardians can understand Dutch well enough for the study
  • For the baby: you/your family must be willing to give informed consent
  • Baby does not have a major congenital condition that could cause problems after vaccines (for example certain significant heart defects)
  • Baby does not have (possible) HIV infection or an immune system problem
