Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You are right-handed
- You are scheduled for surgery that uses propofol as the main IV anesthesia
- You cannot be allergic to propofol, soy, or peanuts
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be between 20 and 30
- You must be able to have an EEG helmet placed and allow the EEG (brain recording) to be collected
