Who can take part
- You are an adult (18 years or older).
- You had radiation therapy to the head or neck that affected your jaw area, directly or indirectly.
- You have oral candidiasis (thrush) confirmed by a doctor through symptoms and a culture test.
- Your cancer is stable — no active tumors, spread, recurrence, or inoperable disease.
- You are not pregnant, not taking chemotherapy that weakens the immune system, and not on antifungal medicine for any fungal infection.
- You have no severe immune problems, fever, allergies to yeast or chloramphenicol, or to the vaccine's components.
- You are not taking MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors, a type of antidepressant).
