Who can take part
- You must be able to have an MRI scan (no MRI safety problems)
- You cannot be pregnant or trying to become pregnant
- For some parts: you must be 18 or older
- For other parts: you must be 7 or older and have suspected/known liver iron overload or high liver fat
- If sedation is needed for the MRI, you usually cannot join (except mild oral anti-anxiety medicine with specific rules in one part)
- For the part that allows mild oral anti-anxiety medicine: you must have your own prescription, consent before taking it, and have a driver
