  • You are 18 years or older and can give informed consent
  • You have anemia and/or confirmed iron deficiency from blood tests
  • You are already scheduled to receive IV iron for your low iron
  • You can safely have MRI scans (no unsafe metal in your body)
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and your health is stable
