Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have pancreatic cancer (PDAC) that is considered borderline resectable or locally advanced, not spread to distant organs
  • Have a tissue-based diagnosis confirming pancreatic cancer (not cholangiocarcinoma, duodenal cancer, or a neuroendocrine tumor)
  • Be able to have surgery (no medical/anesthesia reasons preventing surgery)
  • Be able to do MRI and the study: no severe MRI contrast allergy, no MRI-incompatible pacemaker or metal, and not severe claustrophobia
  • Be able to understand the study and sign consent; agree to also avoid pregnancy during the study (not pregnant or breastfeeding)
