Who can take part
- You are age 40 or older
- You are taking a statin and have muscle pain (with or without other symptoms)
- Your muscle pain started within 90 days of starting the statin or increasing the dose
- You have not had certain recent medications or supplements (no steroid medication in the past month, and no CoQ10 supplement in the past month)
- You do not have active cancer or major neurological/psychiatric problems, including alcohol or drug abuse
- If you could become pregnant, you can use reliable birth control and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding
