This study enrolls people age 40 or older who have at least 50% narrowing in one brain or neck (carotid) artery. It collects clinical information to better understand this condition and how patients are doing over time.

- You can sign a written consent form to join the study
- No major past head injury or brain/cranial surgery
- No bleeding in the brain (such as intracerebral or subarachnoid hemorrhage) or other brain masses
- You can complete brain/mood testing and follow-up; no severe vision, hearing, or communication problems
