Who can take part

  • You have a spinal cord injury that is incomplete (not complete) and at or above the 12th thoracic vertebra (mid-back).
  • You have signs or symptoms of autonomic dysfunction (e.g., blood pressure or heart rate issues).
  • Your injury occurred more than 1 year ago.
  • You are not pregnant, do not smoke, and are not addicted to drugs.
  • You do not have insulin-dependent diabetes, and you are not a shift worker.
  • You do not have active skin breakdown or pressure sores.
