BioFLO breathing training for spinal cord injury

Who can take part

  • You are aged 18 to 70
  • You have a spinal cord injury at or above T12 (mid-back) that is at least 1 year old
  • Your injury is either incomplete (some feeling or movement below the injury) or if complete, it is at or below C4
  • Your spinal cord injury is not caused by a disease that gets worse over time
  • You have a 20% or greater weakness in your breathing muscles compared to someone your age without SCI
  • You do not have other serious medical conditions like heart disease, active infections, or severe pain
