This trial studies whether special CT/MRI/PET-CT image patterns (called radiomics) can predict how well spinal tumor patients do after stereotactic radiosurgery (SBRT). If you’re having SBRT, your scans before and after treatment may be used to better estimate outcomes.

Who can take part

  • You have a spinal tumor where SBRT is an appropriate treatment
  • Your ability to do daily activities is fairly good (Karnofsky score over 60)
  • You’re expected to live at least 3 months
  • You can safely have MRI (no severe claustrophobia and no non-MRI-safe devices/materials)
  • You will get CT/MRI/PET-CT scans before and after treatment and agree to SBRT
  • You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding, and you don’t have an allergy to the MRI contrast dye
