Who can take part
- You are older than 18 years
- You have severe CKD with low kidney function (or special timing if you’re on dialysis or have a transplant)
- If you are not on dialysis, your kidney medicine doses (ACE inhibitor or ARB) must be stable for at least 4 weeks, unless you can’t tolerate them
- You can and are willing to sign informed consent
- You are not currently using an SGLT2 inhibitor (since this study tests dapagliflozin)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
