Who can take part
- You have stage IV (metastatic) esophageal squamous cell cancer confirmed by biopsy or cell testing.
- Your cancer can be measured on scans (there is measurable disease).
- Your overall health is good enough for treatment (ECOG 0 to 2).
- You should expect to live more than 3 months.
- Your blood and organ tests are strong enough (enough white blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin; liver and kidney function meet thresholds).
- You must not have had certain immune-related conditions or immune-suppressing medicines recently, and you must agree to effective birth control during the study and for 6 months after the last dose.
