Who can take part

  • You have confirmed esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (not another type).
  • Your tumor is in the chest area of the esophagus (thoracic cavity).
  • Your cancer stage is locally advanced but still potentially removable: cT3-4a, and N0-1, M0.
  • You are age 18 to 75, and your daily functioning is good (ECOG 0–1).
  • Your heart, lungs, bone blood counts, liver, and kidneys must work well enough for chemo and immunotherapy.
  • You agree to the trial in writing and can follow study visits and procedures.
