Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have invasive breast cancer confirmed by biopsy
- Your breast cancer area is in an accessible spot where a tumor “punch” biopsy can be safely taken
- You and your oncology team are aiming to use radiation mainly for comfort or symptom relief (palliative RT)
- During the radiation, your regular cancer treatment plan may pause systemic therapy (chemo or other body-wide treatment) if your oncologist thinks it’s safe
- You must not be currently pregnant
