Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a biopsy-confirmed solid cancer that has spread (examples include breast, lung, GI, bladder, kidney, melanoma, or soft tissue sarcoma)
  • Your doctor is planning palliative radiation to at least one outside-the-brain metastatic site that is at least 5 cm in one direction
  • Your body function score is 0 or 1 (you can do most normal activities or light work)
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You cannot have had prior radiation to the same targeted metastatic area
