Who can take part
- You have at least one of these: diabetes, kidney function problems, or an elevated heart risk score
- You’ve had a recent serious heart event (like unstable angina, heart attack) or have had/planned bypass surgery within 6 months
- You’ve had a heart catheter procedure (coronary angiography) and treatment unless your doctor thinks implantation should happen sooner
- You live within about 60 minutes by ambulance of a hospital that can treat heart attacks
- You are age 21 or older, and if you can get pregnant you must have a negative pregnancy test or meet pregnancy-related conditions
