3D-printed model training for carotid brain aneurysm procedure

This study tests whether practicing the procedure on a 3D-printed brain model helps doctors treat certain unruptured carotid-sylvian aneurysms more safely or effectively. You may be asked to have (or recently had) special 3D imaging so a printed model can be used for planning.

Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have an unruptured carotid-sylvian aneurysm that is >4 mm long and <20 mm
- Have had 3D brain artery imaging recently (within 6 months) or will have it within 2 weeks of the procedure
- Be able and willing to return for follow-up visits
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding (and avoid pregnancy for the next year)
- You must be able to safely receive contrast dye and MRI if needed (no iodine contrast allergy; no MRI contraindication)
