Who can take part

  • Be 12 to 20 years old when you join the study
  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of osteogenesis imperfecta (any type)
  • Be regularly followed by the OI medical center (CRMR OI)
  • Have the patient’s agreement, and—if needed—parent/guardian permission
  • Have no other cause of hearing loss (for example, certain inner-ear or nerve problems)
  • Be able to take part (no serious neurologic or developmental issues that prevent testing)
