Who can take part

  • You must already be enrolled in the related tDCS parent study (REB# 103-2018)
  • You’re 18 or older and have a DSM-5 diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
  • You must be able to give consent (research staff will check decision-making ability)
  • You must have been on a stable dose of your oral antipsychotic medicines (and other key meds) for at least 2 months, with no plan to change during the study
  • You should NOT have certain conditions that could affect safety or scan results, like seizures history, unstable major medical/neurologic illness, or metal implants/pacemaker that prevent MRI
