  • You are an adult (age 18 or older) with polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, or pre-myelofibrosis
  • You have not been treated before and you are starting first-line treatment using hydroxyurea or pegylated interferon
  • You can understand and agree to take part in the study by signing consent
  • You are covered by social security (affiliated with it)
  • You are not currently taking other cancer treatments that would rule you out, such as ruxolitinib, anagrelide, or pipobroman
