Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older and agree by signing consent forms
  • Have a severe partial-thickness tear of the supraspinatus (with or without infraspinatus) only—over 50% or over 6 mm
  • Have tried non-surgical treatment like physical therapy for at least 3 months without enough improvement
  • Be able to come to all required study visits and fill out questionnaires
  • Have enough healthy tendon tissue for the implant approach
  • Follow the study’s physical therapy plan as your care team recommends
