Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for arthroscopic (minimally invasive) rotator cuff repair
  • Your tear is full-thickness and medium (1–3 cm), large (3–5 cm), or massive (>5 cm), affecting the supraspinatus and/or infraspinatus tendon
  • Your tear is chronic (degenerative), not new from an injury
  • You’re 18 years or older and can read and understand English
  • You tried at least 6 weeks of conservative care (structured in-person physical therapy or documented home therapy) and it didn’t help enough
