Who can take part
- You are scheduled for arthroscopic (minimally invasive) rotator cuff repair
- Your tear is full-thickness and medium (1–3 cm), large (3–5 cm), or massive (>5 cm), affecting the supraspinatus and/or infraspinatus tendon
- Your tear is chronic (degenerative), not new from an injury
- You’re 18 years or older and can read and understand English
- You tried at least 6 weeks of conservative care (structured in-person physical therapy or documented home therapy) and it didn’t help enough
