Who can take part
- You are followed in routine dermatology, surgery, or oncology care in Helsingborg, Lund, Malmö, or Kristianstad hospitals.
- You have a suspicious pigmented skin spot planned for surgical removal (or you have metastatic melanoma planned for surgery or needle sampling).
- Your doctors think the spot could be melanoma, or a different condition that looks similar.
- You can sign a written informed consent form to join the study.
- Your lesion(s) must be large enough that taking a small sample for the study would not interfere with the usual diagnosis.
