Who can take part
- You are currently in the inpatient rehabilitation program at Carolinas Rehabilitation Charlotte
- You have a spinal cord injury and also a pressure sore on the sacrum or ischium
- A physical therapist can evaluate and treat your wound care, and you agree to it
- You can understand the study and sign informed consent (or you’re able to consent as required by the study)
- You are over 18 years old and have a doctor’s order for PT wound care
- Your wound severity score (Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool) is above 31 at the start
