Who can take part

  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 30 and 40
  • Your weight has been fairly stable (no more than 5% change in the last 6 months)
  • You do not have uncontrolled high blood pressure (very high readings like above 140/90, even if meds are used)
  • You do not have diagnosed sleep apnea
  • You have not had bariatric (weight-loss) surgery
  • You do not use tobacco or nicotine products regularly within the last 6 months
