  • Be an adult (18 or older) and live independently
  • Have type 1 diabetes and be able to give written informed consent
  • You should not be currently sick or undergoing other medical investigations
  • No needle fear or strong anxiety about enclosed spaces (claustrophobia)
  • Not take medicines that can interfere with heart-rate signals, like beta blockers
