Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 90 years old.
  • You must have type 1 diabetes, either recently diagnosed (within the past 5 years) or for more than 5 years.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be between 18 and 35.
  • You need to be able to walk, sit, and stand (with or without a walking aid).
  • You must be willing to lie flat on your back for up to 9 hours at a time.
  • You must be willing to wear a continuous glucose monitor (a sensor that tracks your blood sugar).
