Who can take part
- You can sign consent and take pills by mouth, and you’re able to follow the study plan
- You are 18 or older and are a woman with breast cancer confirmed by pathology (biopsy/surgery samples)
- Your tumor has been checked for ER, PR, HER2, and Ki-67 (tumor growth marker)
- Your planned cancer treatment includes anthracyclines and/or anti-HER2 medicines, along with a treatment plan that includes surgery
- Your heart testing is reassuring: ejection fraction is 50% or higher, you’re in normal sinus rhythm, and your overall activity level is ECOG 0–2
