Sound perception study for people with noise-related ear injury

Who can take part

  • You are in the military (active or reserve) and age 18 to 65
  • You have been diagnosed with noise-related ear injury for at least 1 month
  • You are regularly followed by the ENT (ear/nose/throat) clinic at the Army hospital in Lyon (Desgenettes) or Army medical offices
  • You can understand study instructions and agree to take part
  • You have normal hearing if you are in the comparison group, and you have hearing loss already diagnosed if you are in the noise-injury group
  • You have social security coverage
