Who can take part
- You’re 18 to 75 years old (male or female).
- Your CT/PET-CT shows a ground-glass lung nodule near the lung hilum, and it has grown or developed more solid parts over 6–12 months.
- Your nodule is between 8 mm and 3 cm, and you have 3 or fewer nodules total.
- Scans show no spread to lymph nodes or other organs.
- Doctors agree you can safely have either lobectomy surgery or CT-guided microwave treatment.
- You don’t have a bleeding problem, and any clotting issue can be corrected before treatment.
