Lung surgery planning without a tube, using X-ray guidance

Who can take part

  • You can safely tolerate minimally invasive lung surgery (VATS or robotic surgery), based on heart/lung testing
  • Your lung problem is a benign (non-cancer) lesion that is being considered for segmentectomy, or
  • You may have lung adenocarcinoma that is 2 cm or smaller with “ground-glass” areas, and your team is considering segmentectomy
  • Your planned surgery must include a segmentectomy (not a different surgery type)
