Who can take part

  • Be 18 to 40 years old
  • Have front-of-knee pain for at least 3 months
  • Have minor instability of the kneecap on one side (unilateral)
  • Have no other health problems that would interfere with exercise
  • Do NOT have prior kneecap dislocation history that involved trauma or non-trauma
  • Avoid safety risk factors: no smoking, no past blood clots, and no circulation/heart conditions that limit exercise
