Blood Flow Restriction Training for Knee Pain in Athletes

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with patellofemoral pain syndrome (pain around or behind the kneecap)
  • Your knee pain has lasted at least 3 months
  • Your pain is triggered by at least two activities like squatting, climbing stairs, running, or sitting for long periods
  • You have not had knee surgery or serious knee injury in the past 6 months
  • You do not have ligament, cartilage, or meniscus (cartilage disc) injuries in your knee
