Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 5 and 17 years old.
  • Your child must have a noticeable nasal sound in their speech (rated 2 or higher on a special scale).
  • Your child must not have had any past surgery on their palate or throat for speech issues.
  • Your child must not have speech surgery planned in the next 8 weeks.
  • Your child must be able and willing to do the breathing exercises and tests required.
