Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with ARDS, a severe lung injury that makes it hard to breathe.
- Your oxygen levels are 93% or lower, and/or you have COVID-19 related lung changes on a chest X-ray or CT scan.
- Your blood pressure is stable (systolic below 180 and diastolic below 110).
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or a heavy smoker (more than 2 packs a day).
