Who can take part

  • You are a man age 18 or older and can sign consent
  • Your prostate cancer has been confirmed on biopsy (adenocarcinoma)
  • Your cancer is advanced and has grown despite hormone therapy (metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer)
  • You have had the required prior treatments (anti-androgen medicines and/or chemotherapy) for the specific trial “part” you would join
  • Your body can handle the study treatment based on blood/organ tests (adequate organ function)
  • You have NOT had certain prior treatments (including PSMA-targeted CAR-T, PSMA bispecific antibodies, or PSMA radioligand therapy)

Testosterone priming with darolutamide for metastatic prostate cancer

This trial tests whether giving a high dose of testosterone before standard hormone therapy can help the treatment work longer for men with prostate cancer that has spread. You would receive testosterone injections for a short time, then a hormone blocker (darolutamide) along with continued testosterone shots.
