This trial tests a new cancer-fighting drug called AZD2265 against standard treatment for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to hormone therapy. You may qualify if your cancer previously responded to PSMA-targeted radiation treatments but is now growing again.

Who can take part

  • At least 18 years old with adenocarcinoma (a common type of prostate cancer)
  • Cancer has spread to other parts of body and is no longer responding to hormone therapy
  • Previously received at least 2 rounds of PSMA-directed radioactive treatment
  • Previously treated with at least 1 chemotherapy regimen and at least 1 hormone-blocking medication
  • Recent PET/CT scan shows cancer is PSMA-positive (a marker the trial targets)
  • Able to tolerate study procedures with good organ and bone marrow function
