Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and able to give required study documentation
- You have ischemic cardiomyopathy (heart muscle weakness due to coronary artery disease)
- You have had sustained ventricular tachycardia (a fast, dangerous rhythm) on ECG or heart recordings within 6 months
- Your anti-arrhythmia medicine has not worked, can’t be used, or you chose not to take it
- You can safely have MRI-related testing: no non–MRI-safe implants and no MRI/contrast allergy (such as gadolinium)
- No blood clots in the heart and you can take blood thinners (anticoagulation) safely
