Who can take part

  • If you have a cochlear implant: it must be a Cochlear-brand implant
  • If you have a cochlear implant: it should have been placed after 2004
  • If you have a cochlear implant: you’ve had it for at least 1 year
  • If you have a cochlear implant: you must be able to use oral (spoken) language
  • If you have typical hearing: your hearing must be normal to mildly/moderately reduced, not severe
  • You generally should not have certain neurological or middle-ear problems
