  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have severe to very severe hearing loss in the ear that would receive the implant.
  • Hearing aids do not work well enough for you in that ear.
  • You are a fluent speaker of the language used in the hearing tests.
  • You have a smartphone that works with the Nucleus Smart App.
  • You are willing to follow the study schedule and sign a consent form.
