Who can take part

  • You must be the parent or legal guardian who can consent for your infant
  • The infant must need ROP screening based on American Academy of Pediatrics rules
  • The infant must be under 34 weeks and 6 days post-menstrual age at the first visit
  • Your infant must be able to have eye exams and retinal imaging safely
  • Your infant must not have certain eye problems (like clouded cornea, cataract) that block imaging
